New service in the field of voluntary medical insurance will appear in Azerbaijan, and this service will allow insuring against unforeseen circumstances, Chairman of the board of A-Group Insurance Anar Bayramov told Trend.
He noted that the service being developed by the company will be available to both individuals and legal entities.
He said that in particular, the insurance will be valid if emergency medical aid or emergency surgery is needed. The insurance service will allow the insured to cover big financial costs.
Bayramov also noted that conducting extensive examinations for the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular diseases, oncological diseases, hepatitis, diabetes mellitus and further treatment will be another direction of this service.
At the same time, this year the A-Group also intends to substantially increase the share of 14 other voluntary types of insurance in its portfolio, in particular third party liability insurance of motor vehicles, property insurance, cargo insurance and liability insurance, he added.
In 2018, A-Group’s premiums amounted to 13.17 million manats, while payments stood at 8.06 million manats. In January 2019, the company’s premiums amounted to 823,400 manats, while payments were 669,000 manats.
