Uzbekistan’s investment company UzAssets under Uzbekistan’s State Assets Management Agency announced the intention to sell its stake of 44.71 percent in Uzbekkimyomash plant, Trend reports citing UzAssets.
Deloitte acts as a consultant. The sales process is divided into two stages: expression of interest (potential buyer must send an application in the form of a letter) and qualification selection of participants; consideration of commercial and financial proposals.
The application must be submitted by September 27, the transaction will take place in accordance with the rules of the stock exchange.
Potential buyers must meet the requirements - to prove solvency, have a plan for the development of the company, and more.
Uzbekkimyomash plant specializes in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of heat exchange equipment, pumps, turbocompressors, columns, and vessels, as well as complex metal structures.
The plant has its own foundry and blacksmith shops.
The number of the plant's personnel exceeds 1000 people.
Among the clients and partners are such companies as: UzTransGaz, UzAavto, Lukoil, Gazpromneft, and others.
The company has significantly connected capacities for electricity, natural gas, carbon dioxide, oxygen, as well as railway lines (5.9 km. from the Chirchik station, carrying capacity - 250 wagons / 10,000 tons per month).
