BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, March 17. Kyrgyzstan imported 70,500 tons of oil products in January 2024, which is 3.9 times more than in January 2023 (17,883 tons), Trend reports.
According to the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, the value of the imports amounted to $52.748 million. The figure increased by 2.9 times compared to the same month in 2023 ($17.709 million).

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $1.168 billion in January 2024, which is a 36.8 percent increase compared to January 2023. Exports amounted to $181.3 million, a 46.6 percent increase compared to January 2023. Imports increased by 35.1 percent compared to January 2023, reaching $987.5 million.
