BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. In Uzbekistan, agricultural producers will receive compensation for part of the costs of purchasing renewable energy installations and mobile power generators, provided water-saving irrigation of cotton and grain, Trend reports citing "Gazeta.uz".
Agricultural producers will receive subsidies from the state covering up to 50 percent of the cost of purchasing mobile power generators and equipment for renewable energy sources.
This is provided for by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
Reimbursement from the state budget of part of the costs for the purchase of renewable energy installations and mobile generators is being introduced on land with an area of at least 10 hectares with already implemented water-saving irrigation technologies (drip, sprinkling and other systems).
The amount of the subsidy for the purchase of renewable energy installations will be up to 50 percent, but not more than 100 million soums ($9,070). When purchasing mobile power generators, the compensated amount will be up to 30 percent, but not more than 30 million soums ($2,720).
Meanwhile, in Uzbekistan, when forming the parameters of the state budget from 2020, the funds necessary to reimburse the costs of raw cotton producers for the introduction of drip irrigation systems should be provided.
