TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 31. Uzbekistan manufactured textile products worth 62.6 trillion soums ($4.9 billion) from January through September 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency shows that this figure has increased by 26.7 percent year-on-year (49.4 trillion soums, or $3.8 billion in January–September 2023).
The share of manufactured textile products in the structure of the manufacturing industry amounted to 1.8 percent.
At the same time, the production volume of clothing in Uzbekistan reached 23.5 trillion soums ($1.8 billion) during the reporting period, which shows a 27.9 percent growth compared to the same period last year (15.9 trillion soums, or $1.2 billion in January–September 2023).
The share of clothing in the structure of the manufacturing industry reached 4.4 percent.
Meanwhile, the volume of manufactured textile products in Uzbekistan reached 62.6 trillion soums ($3.7 billion) from January through August 2024. This indicator has increased by 13.4 percent year-on-year (41.8 trillion soums, or $3.2 billion in January–August 2023).
