Iran's non-oil export in first half of current solar year(started on March20,2011)increased by 39.5 percent to $20.4 billion, Mehr News Agency reported quoting Head of Iran's Customs Administration Abbas Memarnejad as saying.
"Iran exported 37.3 million tons of cargo valued $20.4 billion during first half of year which indicated 12.3 percent increase of weight and 39.5 percent growth in value," he said.
The country's export of gas condensates valued $4.8 billion while petrochemical products hit $7.4 billion and other items worth $8.1 billion, he added.
Iran's non -oil export to China valued $2.8 billion while UAE, Iraq, Afghanistan and India were other major destinations for country's exports.
The government plan to export $45 billion non-oil goods and technical services in current solar year(started on March20,2011).
It's predicted that the non-oil export reaches $45 billion on current year while $14.5 billion belongs to industry,$14 billion to petrochemical products , $4.5 billion Agriculture,$4billion gas condensates $3billion mines ,$4billion technical and engineering services and one billion to export of carpet and handicrafts.
The private sector would hold $20 billion of non-oil export while government holds $18 billion and cooperate sector poses $7 billion.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Iran is the third largest country in the Middle East and Central Asia in terms of exports and imports.
