The list of candidates for cabinet of ministers of new Iranian president Hassan Rouhani is ready to be submitted to the parliament, MP Mohammad Reza Tabesh said, ILNA reported.
Tabesh noted that the working group has already prepared the list of candidates, which has been submitted to the president Rouhani on July 17. He noted that in the near future Rouhani will submit the list to the parliament for approval.
Tabesh did not reveal any details about the candidate list, however criticized some local media outlets that have previously published the list of names that could possibly be in Rouhani's cabinet of ministers.
Rouhani became the new president of Iran on June 14 at the presidential elections in the country, gathering over 50 percent of votes. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not participate in the elections due to country's constitutional laws.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election and the Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
The inauguration of Hassan Rouhani is scheduled for August 4.
