BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 7. Iran's exports of non-oil products to Azerbaijan increased by 32.8 percent in value and 15 percent in weight during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (March 21-September 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Customs Administration shows that Iran's exports of non-oil products to Azerbaijan for six months amounted to 439,000 tons worth $349 million.
Statistics indicate that during the same period last year, Iran's export of non-oil products to Azerbaijan amounted to more than 381,000 tons worth about $263 million.
According to the statistics, Iran primarily sent a cornucopia of agricultural and food products, along with a smattering of industrial goods, and a healthy dose of petrochemical and chemical products over to Azerbaijan.
To note, Iran exported 70 million tons of non-oil products worth $25.8 billion during the six months of the year. Compared to the same period last year, the export of products increased by 6.5 percent in value and 3.5 percent in weight.
