BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Iran earned over $200 million from the sale of oil extracted from Cheshmeh Khosh, Dalpari, and Paydar-e-Sharq oil fields in the past Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), Majid Najarian, an official from the Iranian Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that more than three million barrels of crude oil were extracted from the above fields during the reporting period.
Najarian added that in the current year (2025), increasing production from these fields remains a priority, and the relevant production target is expected to be fully realized within 10 years.
To note, upon the completion of development work at the
Cheshmeh-Khosh, Dalpari, and Paydar-e-Sharq oil fields, daily
output will rise from 75,000 barrels to 110,000 barrels.
As of February 2024, ZN Vostok Company, a Russian entity, has
allocated more than $500 million towards hydrocarbon-centric
initiatives within the Iranian market.
In 2019, ZN Vostok signed a 10-year agreement with Iranian companies Iran Ofoqh and Kayson for the development of the Cheshmeh-Khosh, Dalpari, and Paydar-e Sharq fields, involving a total investment of $3 billion. The development operations on these fields began in mid-2020.
