The White House on Thursday condemned the attacks in southern Israel, which killed seven Israelis and wounded dozens others, calling them "brutal terrorist attacks.", Xinhua reported.
"We condemn the brutal terrorist attacks in southern Israel today in the strongest terms," White House spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement.
"The U.S. and Israel stand united against terror and we hope that those behind this attack will be brought to justice swiftly," he added.
Militants launched a string of attacks on a civilian bus, a military patrol and a private vehicle in southern Israel on midday Thursday. Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak vowed that the Israeli army would punish the perpetrators.
