Turkish steel exports to Kazakhstan from January through May 2021 grew in value by 35 percent year-on-year reaching $12.8 million, Turkey's Ministry of Trade told Trend.
Turkey exported steel worth over $5.4 million to Kazakhstan in May 2021, which is by 1.9 times more than in the same month of 2020, the ministry said.
Turkey's steel export has grown by 48.9 percent in the first 5 months of 2021 up to $7.2 billion year-on-year.
The country exported steel worth $1.7 billion in May 2021, which is by 114 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
The export of Turkey’s steel reached $14.9 billion over the past 12 months (from May 2020 through May 2021).
