Chairman of the Amal Intelligentsia Movement, professor Halid Alimirzoyev decided to abandon the politics, he told Trend.
Halid Alimirzoyev, manifesting of conducting the fight for democratic state structuring and the national interests, took this step because the forces calling themselves the real opposition were not sincere in their latest actions and their ambitious moves are in conflict with our moral values and damage much in the struggle for unification of the democrtaic forces and the single idea.
He said, he has also left the Musavat party, but without writing any application. As for the Amal further activities headed by him, he said, We plan to convene the supreme council sitting for the issue to be discussed. Alimirzoyev noted also he will continue his scientific works. Professor, an author of several books noted, he would work over new ones.
