Ogtay Shiraliyev, Azerbaijan Health Minister, informed Trend that the World Health Organization (WHO) highly appreciates work on the fight with bird flue carried out in Azerbaijan.
According to him, the International Organization had repeatedly said that Azerbaijan could be an example for many countries in this issue.
However WHO notes that the fight with bird flue is the occupation of not only the Health Ministry, but also the corresponding coordinating state offices and agencies. Cohesion is a must in this issue. We can reach positive results only with that, said the Minister. WHO is actively assisting Azerbaijan in solving this issue.
300 instructors have been prepared within the fight with bird flue. WHO has rendered assistance in introducing new technologies, and conducting reforms, said the Health Minister.
