Azerbaijan, Baku, 5 may / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Nigar Abdulsalimova, Azerbaijani gymnast, won a gold medal in the international rhythmic gymnastics in Poland, Azerbaijani Gymnastic Federation (AGF) reported to Trend on 5 May.
The gymnasts -Vafa Huseynova, Anna Bitiyeva, Valeria Egai, Alina Trepina and Anastasia Prosolova took the leading positions.
The Azerbaijani gymnasts with 5 ribbons took the third place.
The Polish gymnast took the first and Azerbaijani gymnast took second places.
Nigar Abdulsalimova and Saida Abdullayeva, performing with ribbons, took the first and second places.
The tournament was the preparatory one to the European Championship in Turin from 5 to 7 June.
Two Azerbaijani gymnasts, Saida Salimova and Hafiz Rzayev, participated in the European Championship in Odense and took the 27th and 31st places. The gymnasts from Russia, Poland and Belorussia took the fist, second and third places.
