Afghan President Hamid Karzai has met with a young prisoner, Mohammed Javad, who had been released from the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp. Trend reported citing the Afghan Presidential Administration's press-service.
Javad was arrested in 2002, when he was 12 years old. Javad was accused of the murder of two American citizens and injuring one Afghan. Javad was imprisoned at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp by coalition forces. After his release Javad returned to Afghanistan.
The Afghan President praised Javad's release and called it a humanitarian action. Karzai ordered the authorities to solve all Javad and his family's problems.
