ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, August 11. Ashgabat holds the highest number of registered mobile-banking users in Turkmenistan, with 24,486 as of August 1, 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Turkmenistan shows that Lebap and Mary follow closely with 24,235 and 22,076 users, respectively. Balkan recorded 16,819 users, while Dashoguz reported 7,023. Ahal accounts for 2,620 mobile-banking users, and the newly established city of Arkadag has 71 registered users.
The aggregate figure of officially registered mobile-banking users nationwide has culminated at 97,330. This uptick underscores the continuous initiatives aimed at optimizing accessibility to digital financial solutions and amplifying user convenience across diverse geographical segments.
