BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. As of the first of October 2024, the tally of labor contracts in Azerbaijan has soared past 1.852 million.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's state tax authority under the Ministry of Economy shows that this figure has increased by 450,970 compared to the beginning of 2019.
Meanwhile, in the private non-oil sector, the number of labor contracts increased by 430,500 compared to 2019 and amounted to more than 970,424.
To note, the number of labor contracts in Azerbaijan was 1.808 million as of the first of January 2024.
