BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 9. Azerbaijan imported 25 electric vehicles (EVs) from Germany in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistical Committee shows that the import of this quantity of electric vehicles amounted to $3.2 million.
The average price of one imported electric vehicle was $127,500 or 216,700 manat.
The number of EVs imported from Germany grew by eight units (47 percent), and the value - by $1.6 million (two times) compared to January of last year (17 EVs worth $1.6 million).
In the first month of this year, Azerbaijan imported 139 electric vehicles worth $6.5 million.
Moreover, Azerbaijan exported nine EVs, with a total value of $535,000.
