BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. The revenues of hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan grew by 12.1 percent from January through March of this year year on year, reaching 125.1 million manat ($73.6 million).
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee reveals that 58.6 percent of the revenue came from room services, 28 percent - food and beverage services, 3.1 percent - medical and wellness services, and 10.3 percent - other services.
In the reporting period, the room occupancy rate of hotels and hotel-type facilities across the country was 19.3 percent, compared to 17.8 percent in the same period in 2024.
This figure was 68.2 percent in Shabran, 43.5 percent in Gusar, 31.2 percent in Naftalan, 28 percent in Baku, 27.2 percent in Sabirabad, 24.5 percent in Gabala, 19.7 percent in Barda, 19.2 percent in Aghdam, 16.4 percent in Shamakhi, 16.3 percent in Aghstafa, 15.7 percent in Beylagan, 15.6 percent in Lankaran, 15.3 percent in Guba, and below 15.3 percent in other cities and districts.
