BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 23. Azerbaijan imported 2,613 trucks from January through April 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that the cost of importing this number of vehicles was $33.4 million.
In juxtaposition to the corresponding timeframe of the preceding
year, the influx of trucks experienced a contraction of 14 units,
translating to a decrement of 0.5 percent in quantity, alongside a
depreciation in monetary terms amounting to $12.9 million, which
equates to a 27.9 percent decline in valuation (2,627 trucks
appraised at $46.3 million).
The mean acquisition cost for a singular imported truck during the
specified reporting interval was $12,764, reflecting a decrement of
$4,868 (27.6 percent) compared to the initial quadrimester of the
preceding fiscal year, which stood at $17,632.
