BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 29. Azerbaijan's insurance companies collected 2.5 million manat ($1.4 million) in credit insurance premiums for the period from January through July 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Central Bank indicates that this figure is 139,000 manat ($81,763), or 5.2 percent, higher than for the same period in 2024.
At the same time, the volume of payments for credit insurance for the reporting period amounted to 41,000 manat ($24,117). This is 2,000 manat ($1,176) or 4.6 percent less than the same period in 2024.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's insurance companies collected 937.6 million manat ($551.5 million) in insurance premiums from January through July of this year. According to the information, this figure is 104.4 million manat ($61.4 million), or 12.5 percent more than the same period of 2024.
At the same time, in the first seven months of 2025, Azerbaijani insurance companies made insurance payments in the amount of 529.3 million manat ($311.3 million). This is 90.7 million manat ($53.3 million) or 20.7 percent more than the same period last year.
