Tourism and resorts department of Adjara expects for coming of 300,000-320,000 people in 2009.
"According to our forecasts, local people will rest in Adjara in 2009. But we expect for coming of tourists from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia," deputy head of tourism and resorts department Beka Jakeli said.
According to him, Black Sea resorts are in demand in 2009. These resorts include Kobuleti and Batumi. But mountain resorts include Borjomi, Bakuriani and Surami.
