In 2014, the gross profit of large and medium-sized commercial enterprises in Kazakhstan increased by 33 percent, said the message of the analytical service Ranking.kz.
The message said that in 2014, the total income of large and medium-sized enterprises in the private sector in Kazakhstan amounted to 2.6 trillion tenge (185.65 tenge / $1), of which the companies of the trade sphere earned 407.9 billion tenge.
The profit growth of commercial enterprises of the private sector in Kazakhstan in 2014 occurred firstly due to the increase of sales volume to 1.8 trillion tenge (1.6 trillion tenge in 2013), according to the analytical service.
Secondly, the profit growth of commercial enterprises was influenced by increase of their profitability to 9 percent (6.4 percent in 2014).
In general, some 67 percent of 959 operating commercial enterprises completed 2014 with profit in Kazakhstan, the message said.
