A concept and a software for the monitoring system was developed in Azerbaijan, the press service of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of Azerbaijan told Trend.
"These achievements were reached within the project of the first module ‘Monitoring of the labor market’, based on German experience and with the help of experts from the German Nordmetall Gmbh.," said the confederation.
Through surveys at enterprises and entering data into the system, the confederation receives an analysis of the qualitative and quantitative needs for qualified personnel, which is subsequently provided to the Agency for Vocational Education and other interested structures.
“Since the launch of the monitoring system, about 80 enterprises in the cities of Baku, Ganja and Khachmaz have taken part in the polls. Unfortunately, despite the fact that surveys are conducted on the basis of anonymity, companies are still extremely reluctant to share information,” the confederation noted.
“At present, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we initiated a new survey, which also included questions about how the quarantine affected the activities of enterprises, and what measures, according to entrepreneurs, are necessary to support the business,” the organization said.
“Within the framework of this module, roundtables are regularly organized with businessmen in Baku, Ganja, Lankaran and Khachmaz cities,” said the confederation.
The National Confederation of Organizations of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) of Azerbaijan was established on March 5, 1999 in Baku and passed the official state registration.
It unites in its ranks over 1,000 business entities, including 35 associations and unions of a socio-economic profile.
