PremiumKazTransOil ups oil transportation volumes

The volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" in January - February 2011 was equal to 8.92 million tons compared to 8.3 million tons in January - February 2010, the company reported.

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" was 5.83 billion tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator increased by 566 million tons per km.

The volume of oil transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of Kazakhstan increased up to 2.17 million tons, which is 2 percent higher than in the same period of 2010.

The volume of oil transshipment through the "Atasu-Alashankou" pipeline amounted to 2.66 million tons compared to 2.24 million tons during the same period last year.

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of Kazakhstan, during the reporting period was 944,000 tons of oil, which is 88,000 higher than in the same period of 2010.
