ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, April 30. Türkiye purchased about 2,517 tons of marine fuel from Turkmenistan from January through February this year, Trend reports.
According to Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority
(EPDK), over the designated period, Türkiye's imports of marine
fuel from Turkmenistan were 8 times lower than imports during the
same period in 2023, totaling nearly 20,200 tons.
Furthermore, only the whole volume of maritime fuel imported from
Turkmenistan occurred in February.
At the same time, Türkiye acquired around 95,000 tons of naval fuel
from Turkmenistan in 2023, which is more than six times greater
than the similar period in 2022, when the volume was 15,540
tons.
Meanwhile, the burgeoning economic relationship between Turkmenistan and Türkiye stands as a dynamic and strategically significant development, emblematic of their robust trade connections.
Both nations are actively broadening their trade horizons, enhancing collaboration, and delving into fresh avenues for mutually advantageous ventures.
