BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 28. The revenues from hotels and hotel-type facilities in Azerbaijan increased by 42 percent last year compared to 2023 and amounted to 694.2 million manat ($408.3 million).
The data obtained by Trend from the country's State Statistics Committee showed that 65.5 percent of revenues were received from room services, 24.5 percent - catering services, 2.5 percent - treatment and healthcare services, and 7.5 percent - other services.
Moreover, it was noted that in 2024, the utilization rate of the one-time capacity of hotels (inns) and hotel-type facilities nationwide stood at 24.0 percent (20.1 percent in 2023).
To note, this indicator amounted to 62.9 percent in Shabran, 46.1 percent - Naftalan, 39.3 percent - Baku, 27 percent in- Gusar, 23.7 percent - Sabirabad, 23.5 percent - Gabala, 22.2 percent - Guba, 19.2 percent - Aghstafa, 17.6 percent - Aghjabadi, 17.5 percent - Beylagan, 17.4 percent - Shamakhi, 17.3 percent - Lankaran, and in other cities and districts the indicator was lower than 17.3 percent.
