Extension of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations discussed in Baku

Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Union (ATIB) and Society of Independent Manufacturers and Businessmen held the meeting to discuss potential opportunities of Azerbaijani-Turkish relations extension in Baku, ATIB said.

"Roughly 35 percent of non oil sector production fell on ATIB members because ATIB thoroughly chooses its members," Jamal Yangin, deputy chairman of the union's board, said.

Profitable conditions are created for businessmen in Azerbaijan, as well as the Azerbaijani state renders support to entrepreneurs, he said. There are the most profitable conditions for trade relations, such as cheap water, gas and electric power, low rate of profit tax, cheap man power, as well as modern customs system, Yangin said.  

Chairman of the Society of Independent Manufacturers and Businessmen Omar Jihat Vardan also confirmed great progress and development of Azerbaijan. 

The Society of Independent Manufacturers and Businessmen was established in 1990. Its members include 4,500 organizations operating in all economic branches.
