Azerbaijani General Prosecutor’s Office refutes information about four peoples’ death during flood in Kur River

Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office refutes information about four people's death during the flood in the Kur River, the press officer of the Prosecutor General's Office Eldar Sultanov told Trend.

The press spread information that driver of excavator, two children and 18-year-old Agagasim Israfilov, resident of the Garaguney village in the Sabirabad region died in connection with the flood in the Kur River and during natural calamity occurred due to the flood.

During the investigation it was found that the information and fact of death of driver of excavator and two children in the territory of the natural calamity are false, Sultanov said.

"Regarding the article on disappearance of the Garagyuney villager we'd like to inform you that villager Agagasim Israfilov inadvertently fell from his horse to the Kur River, and disappeared May7. As a result of the search, his dead body was found today and given to his family," Sultanov said.
