Georgia unequivocally supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and does not recognize the so-called "parliamentary elections" in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
"The Georgian Foreign Ministry confirms its unequivocal support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity and does not recognize the so-called parliamentary elections held May 23, 2010 in Nagorno Karabakh," a statement said.
"We are deeply convinced that the ongoing peace talks in the region have no alternative and the process must continue with the participation of international individuals, until a final solution necessary to resolve the conflict is agreed," a statement said.
Elections in Nagorno Karabakh were held May 23.
