Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today cut a ribbon to officially open the redeveloped Museum of History and Local Lore as part of his visit to Shabran.
The President was told the Museum's collection includes 3,572 exhibits reflecting Shabran`s history and culture.
Most of the exhibits were found during archaeological excavations.
The collection includes examples of Shabran-made carpets among other exhibits.
The Head of State viewed Shabran`s middle age model.
The President praised the redevelopment work in the museum.
