Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Phuong Nga have discussed matters aimed at enhancing cooperation in Baku, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
At the meeting Mammadyarov stressed the importance of enhancing the legal framework between the two countries and expressed interest in the development of Azerbaijan's cooperation with Vietnam.
Mammadyarov also asked Nguyen Phuong Nga to convey to his Vietnamese counterpart an invitation to visit Azerbaijan.
Stressing good opportunities for cooperation between the two countries, Nguyen Phuong Nga expressed Vietnam's interest in working with Azerbaijan in its energy sector.
