Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree "Delivering a holiday share to the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran".
According to the document, about 1,000 tons of flour will be delivered to Iran to strengthen the ties of friendship and brotherhood, based on the traditions of good neighborliness and high humanism, and Novruz holiday.
This year, Turkmenistan plans to sell excess of wheat and flour through the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
In 2010, Turkmen farmers gathered about 1 million 500,000 tons of wheat.
Sown area was 860,000 hectares.
