TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 2. The price of RON-80 gasoline in Uzbekistan has taken a hike, with the minimum price now sitting at 8,150 sums (around $0.636), Trend reports.
At the Carvon (formerly UNG) gas stations in Uzbekistan, the price of this fuel has increased from 6,900 to 8,150 sums (approximately $0.538 to $0.636), marking a rise of 18.11 percent. At other gas stations, RON-80 gasoline has been sold for prices ranging from 8,500 to 9,000 sums (approximately $0.663 to $0.702) over the past few weeks.
To note, earlier it was reported that the cost of RON-80 is likely to increase from April 2025. It was expected against the backdrop of an increase in the excise duty rate.
