BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 12. Azerbaijan imported 233 tons of butter worth $1.7 million from Belarus from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee indicates that butter imports from Belarus rose by 42 tons, or 22 percent, in volume, and $625,000, or 54.5 percent, in value, compared to the same period in 2024 (191 tons, worth $1.1 million).
Over the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported a total of 2,900 tons of butter valued at $15.4 million, mainly from Iran, New Zealand, and Belarus.
