BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 17. Azerbaijan's processing enterprises manufactured products and provided industrial services worth eight billion manat ($4.7 billion) from January through May 2025.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee shows that
in juxtaposition to the corresponding timeframe of the preceding
year, the output of food commodities escalated by 9.4 percent, the
generation of beverage products surged by 5.6 percent, and the
fabrication of tobacco goods advanced by 4.9 percent.
In the landscape of these sectors, the output of pasta products
experienced a remarkable escalation of 2.4 times, while the
distillation of whiskey and brandy surged by 19.7 percent.
Concurrently, vodka production witnessed a robust increase of 15
percent, and the canning of fruits and vegetables expanded by 5.2
percent.
