ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 9. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov inaugurated a new glass production workshop at an industrial complex in northern Ashgabat, Trend reports.
The facility, engineered to achieve a throughput of 100 tons of
glass products daily, signifies a pivotal advancement in the
operationalization of the Program for the Socio-Economic
Development of Turkmenistan (2022–2028) and the National
Development Program (2022–2052).
Constructed exclusively from indigenous raw inputs—comprising
quartz sand, limestone, and dolomite—the manufacturing methodology
encompasses elevated thermal fusion, blow molding processes, and
advanced thermal regulation techniques.
The facility is outfitted with a state-of-the-art laboratory,
incorporating cutting-edge instrumentation sourced from leading
international suppliers to guarantee optimal product integrity.
International compliance certifications were conferred by Germany's
Horn Glass Industries and Italy's Vetromeccanica Srl and Bottero.
The presentation ceremony was graced by the presence of Horn
Glass's Chief Executive Officer, Stefan Erwin Meindl, alongside the
esteemed representative from Vetromeccanica, Alessandro Nigro.
The newly established facility is poised to generate a substantial
number of employment opportunities and is anticipated to deliver
premium-grade glass products tailored for Turkmenistan’s food and
pharmaceutical sectors, concurrently enhancing export
capabilities.
