Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, and Mines (TCCIM) and Tashkent Chamber of Commerce here on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding to boost economic and commercial ties.
TCCIM Chairman Yahya Al-e Es'haq and his Tashkent counterpart inked the MOU, the Mehr News Agency reported.
According to Al-e Es'haq the two counties' trade volume currently stands at $300 million.
He noted that multi-billion dollar trade volume prospects exist between the two states, however at the current slow pace of developments trade will reach $500 million in the near future.
