Prices of construction work grew by 0.9 percent in the first quarter in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.
The cost of aerial work during this period increased by 1.4 percent and road construction cheapened by 3.5 percent, the Committee said.
Prices for construction of residential houses during the quarter fell by 1.1 percent and construction work on the socio-designed buildings increased by 8.8 percent.
Construction of six-and high-rise residential buildings cheapened by 0.8 percent, buildings up to five stories - by one percent. Of the socio-directed buildings, construction of secondary schools increased in price by 7.4 percent and office buildings - 0.2 percent.
