Georgia proposes Azerbaijan to exchange experience over creation of logistical and distribution centers for the purposes of agricultural development, Georgia's Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Vera Kobalia told Trend on her one-day visit to Azerbaijan on Monday.
"Logistical and distribution centers, which aim at development of agriculture, are being built in Azerbaijan. We also work in this direction since Georgia still imports the bigger part of agricultural produces and we want to replace the import by domestic production," Kobalia said.
It would be correct for the two countries to exchange experience in this sphere and establish logistical centers aiming at strengthening of agriculture in both Georgia and Azerbaijan, she noted. This would contribute to establishment of a common regional center in future, the Minister said.
