"Samruk-Kazyna" JSC finalized the transfer of 93 percent of the ordinary shares of "BTA Bank" JSC which belongs it in favor of "Kazkommertsbank" JSC and K. Rakishev., the press-service of the "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC said.
"As a result of the transaction the new shareholders each own 46.5 percent of ordinary shares of "BTA Bank" JSC. The shares of BTA Bank which remain the property of "Samruk-Kazyna" at the size of 4.26 percent were transferred to the asset management of "Kazkommertsbank" JSC, the report said.
This follows the May 15, 2014 sale of "Samruk-Kazyna" JSC shares in "Temirbank" JSC (79.88 percent), as well as part of package of shares (16 percent) in "Alliance Bank" JSC Bulat Utemuratov.
