The volume of products manufactured by Azerbaijan’s ASK Şüşə LLC exceeded 11.6 million tons in the first half of 2020, and in quantitative terms – 35.8 million units of glass containers, the company told Trend.
The number of products sold over the reporting period of this year is 32.4 million units, the company said.
The company also noted that the annual production capacity of the enterprise is 70-75 million units of glass containers.
“During the special quarantine regime in the country due to the spread of the COVID-19, the company carries out uninterrupted production of glass containers for the food industry. Both production lines of the enterprise are working in an enhanced mode,” said the enterprise.
The volume of finished products manufactured at the enterprise over 2019 made up over 13 million tons, or 37.8 million units glass containers. Last year, the number of sold products amounted to over 34.4 million units.
ASK Şüşə LLC is the subsidiary of the Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation OJSC.
