The retail sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel from January through April 2021 in Azerbaijan totaled 736.1 million manat ($433 million), Trend reports referring to a report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, this indicator means a growth of 0.2 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
The share of sales of motor gasoline and diesel fuel in the total retail trade turnover of Azerbaijan reached 6.1 percent.
The average monthly retail trade turnover per capita in the first 4 months of 2021 amounted to 300.4 manat ($176.7), the committee said.
During the reporting period, the cost of products sold in retail chains in Azerbaijan made up 12 billion manat ($7 billion), which is 0.1 percent less compared to the same period of last year.
