Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The State Veterinary Service of the Azerbaijan Agriculture Ministry refuted reports on presence of 'bird flu' virus in Bilasuvar and Fizuli Districts of Azerbaijan.
The State Service stated that 'bird flu' was found in the Poultry in Bilasuvar and Boyuk Bahmanli village of Fizuli District.
The State Veterinary Service calls the population not to believe such reports and announced on continuation of monitoring exercises to warn 'bird flu' in Azerbaijan, which so far have not revealed the presence of virus.
To prevent the infiltration of the bird flu virus into the country, all frontier veterinary points are operating on medium security, the prohibition on hunting, sale and eating of wild birds in the Country still remains in force.
