The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) retreated slightly to 82.41 dollars at mid-week, the cartel said Thursday, DPA reported.
OPEC's basket price eased by 0.18 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Wednesday.
The group's 12 members produce more than a third of the world's crude oil.
