Several wells are being overhauled by Uzbekneftegaz JSC at Sharki-Berdak field in Ustyurt Gas Production Department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
As a result of perforation works, the company received an industrial gas inflow with daily flow rate of 100,000 cubic meters and 0.6 tons of gas condensate.
The drilling operations at well No. 23 of the Arslan field have been also completed. As a result of perforation works, the company obtained a commercial inflow with daily flow rates of 150-200 thousand cubic meters of gas and one ton of gas condensate.
Recently, Uzbekneftegaz launched an oil well in Tergachi village of Namangan region. The daily production of oil from this well will be some 17 tons.
The national holding company Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
At the beginning of 2020, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting at which the head of state instructed Uzbekneftegaz to thoroughly analyze each field it is operating and ensure the increase in gas production.
