BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. Azerbaijan is among the countries in the world with the most affordable prices for gasoline as of July 12, 2023, Trend reports.
According to the Global Petrol Prices portal, the cost of gasoline in Azerbaijan is $0.813 per liter.
The cheapest gasoline in the world is in Venezuela ($0.004 per liter), while the most expensive is in Hong Kong ($2.992 per liter).
In addition to Azerbaijan, the top 15 countries with the cheapest gasoline included Iran, Libya, Algeria, Kuwait, Egypt, Turkmenistan, Angola, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Iraq and Qatar.
The top 10 countries with the most expensive gasoline are Iceland, Monaco, the Central African Republic, Norway, Denmark, Barbados, Finland, Greece and France.
Different gasoline prices in the countries of the world are caused by different types of fuel taxes and subsidies.
