BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 26. Azerbaijan ranks among the countries with the most affordable gasoline prices as of June 24, 2024, Trend reports via Global Petrol Prices (GPP).
According to the GPP portal, the cost of gasoline in Azerbaijan amounts to $0.588 per liter.
Iran offers the world's cheapest gasoline at $0.029 per liter, while Hong Kong boasts the most expensive at $3.238 per liter.
Among the top 15 countries with the least expensive gasoline are Libya, Venezuela, Egypt, Algeria, Kuwait, Angola, Turkmenistan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Bolivia, and Qatar.
Conversely, Monaco, Iceland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Barbados, and Israel are among the 10 countries where gasoline is most expensive.
These variations in gasoline prices across countries primarily stem from differences in fuel taxes and subsidies.
