BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 20. Azerbaijan is among the countries with the most affordable gasoline prices as of December 16, Trend reports via the Global Petrol Prices portal.
According to the Global Petrol Prices portal, the cost of gasoline in Azerbaijan is $0.647 per liter.
The country with the cheapest gasoline is Iran ($0.029 per liter), while the most expensive gasoline is in Hong Kong ($3.311 per liter).
The top 20 countries with the cheapest gasoline include Libya, Venezuela, Angola, Egypt, Kuwait, Algeria, Turkmenistan, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Bolivia, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, the UAE, and Ecuador.
Among the 10 countries with the most expensive gasoline are Monaco, Iceland, Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands, Singapore, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Barbados.
To note, the different gasoline prices in countries around the world are due to different types of fuel taxes and subsidies.
