The foreign investments were made in the industrial, mining, and trade sectors in Iran increased by 71.2 percent in terms of value during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through November 20, 2020), compared to the same period last Iranian year,Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran.
According to statistics, $1.02 billion worth of foreign investments was approved to be invested in Iran's industrial, mining, and trade sectors within the reporting period.
“These investments will be made on the basis of 75 projects,” the statistics said.
The number of projects increased by 36.4 percent over 8 months compared to the same period last Iranian year, the statistics.
While in the same period last Iranian year, $597 million worth of investments were approved to be made.
According to statistics, there were 55 projects on the making of investments in the same period last Iranian year.
